Weatherlea Farm & Vineyard Wedding

~ Daniella & Matt | September 16, 2017 ~

Daniella and Matt married in a rustic Weatherlea Farm and Vineyard wedding in Lovettsville, Virginia. I loved all the details including the ranunculus and calf ear bridal bouquet, watercolor invitations with ferns leaves, and the bride’s open back wedding gown. But the theme of the day was definitely family. Seeing how happy Daniella and Matt were to share their day with their closest loved ones made me so thankful to be there with them.

First Look

The happy couple opted to do a first look right before their ketubah signing in the Weatherlea barn. Weatherlea is a working farm, so sheep and llamas looked on.

Reception

The Weatherlea Farm and Vineyard wedding reception took place in an old barn. Furthermore, white tables, string lights, and Japanese lanterns adorned the space. On the tables, white ranunculus and dahlias served as place settings. Also, at the reception, Matt surprised Daniella by bringing in the Georgetown a cappella group to sing a few songs. At the same time, the guests enjoyed an array of dessert doughnuts. Finally, the bride and groom danced the hora under the shining lights.

After the wedding, the bride left this review on WeddingWire:

“Olivia shot our fall wedding on a farm in Loudoun County, Virginia, and was so helpful and great to work with from the very start. She gave us a lot of great advice on how to plan and execute our shot list, and was incredibly quick and seamless in getting our family and friends shots done before and after the ceremony. But our favorites were the more candid shots, which we had loved about the other work in her portfolio. Olivia and her assistant did such a beautiful job capturing everyone’s emotions and expressions, and the beauty of the farm. We were very happy with her work, and would highly recommend her to other couples in the DC area.”
