Kila and John’s Tranquility Farm wedding photos showcase their serene setting in Purcellville, Virginia. Built in 1807, Tranquility Farm is a historic private residence with ivy covered walls. It features a main house decorated to look like a Restoration Hardware showroom (kidding, but not really). Also, the grounds have a barn and multiple outdoor ceremony sites.
When Kila first reached out to me, she described her wedding as a “classy, rustic wedding with blush, navy, and purple.” So, her styling of the day reflected her vision. As a result, Kila’s bridal hairstyle included curls, pearls, and purple flowers. Furthermore, the bride wore a two-piece wedding gown with a V-back and art deco earrings. Finally, the bridal bouquet consisted of blush and white roses tied with a pink ribbon.
The bride and groom decided on a first look to calm their nerves and give them more time together on their wedding day. We chose a spot with even light and ivy covering the walls. The groom was elated to see his beautiful bride.
Kila got her makeup ready by large windows in the bridal suite of the main house.
During their sunset ceremony, guests were seated in a semi-circle around the couple.
This moment right here. Kila anticipated this moment the most: “right after the ceremony and we are married!”
The tail-end of these Tranquility Farm wedding photos feature dinner and dancing inside the farm’s gorgeous, rustic barn. The barn receives light from giant chandeliers. The venue served a naked cake decorated with blush roses. The bride and groom slow-danced, as the night sky filled with stars.
Congratulations to this very sweet couple!
