Llamas, Flowers, and Happiness

September 18, 2019

Long before I became a professional wedding photographer in Maryland, I would take pictures just for fun. At every family event, I would be there photographing the people and little details. I remember taking so many photos of my mother’s drinking glasses just because I liked how she arranged them. When life and work gets busy or stressful, I try to return to that feeling of creating images for fun.

So, this summer I participated in a styled photo just for fun! My very nice and supportive husband took the day off of his work to hang out with our baby, while I spent the day at a styled shoot hosted by Ruffled. Ten talented photographers from around the country traveled to New Jersey to photograph all the citrusy, happy, luxury details. I was thrilled when Ruffled chose my gallery to feature on their industry-leading blog!

Amanda Nistor of Ruffled wrote, “Llama farm weddings will always tug at our heartstrings, so we’ll be bookmarking this gallery forever thank you very much. How bout you? What kind of fur babies would you like to see more of in modern weddings?” And she is totally right! While I do see more and more couples incorporating their dogs into their weddings, I hope we will see more llamas in the future!
